The government has decided to cap energy prices for companies - If the state budget for 2023 is approved, they are to be frozen at €199 per MWh for electricity and €99 per MWh for gas. "The State will reimburse 80 % of what is above this designated level. For example, if a company buys electricity for €199, the state does not have to pay anything. If a business buys electricity for €500, the difference is €300 and 80 % of that will be paid to the employer by the state," said Prime Minister Eduard Heger. A special solution awaits companies that operate under the label "energy intensive".

A significant percentage of Slovaks live in unhealthy homes - According to the Healthy Homes Barometer, up to 163 million Europeans are exposed to at least one of four factors that adversely affect the indoor environment and human health on a daily basis. The potential for improving the indoor environment lies not only in the home, but also in schools and workplaces. "The data in the study shows that healthy reconstructions make a big difference. In the long term - by 2050 - Slovakia can gain up to two billion euros in cumulative economic benefits. This means that if it invests now in healthy renovations, primarily of schools and public buildings, it will be able to evaluate these renovations as successful in the long run and individual buildings will save a significant amount of money on energy, materials, etc.," says Zdeněk Okáč.

NBS. On the basis of Regulation (EU) 2020/1503 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 October 2020 on European crowdfunding service providers for business and amending Regulation (EU) 2017/1129 and Directive (EU) 2019/1937 (the "Regulation on European crowdfunding service providers for business"), crowdfunding will become a legally regulated activity.
